Warm Springs

Warm Springs is the home of the Warm Springs, Wasco, and Paiute Native American Tribes. The history of the Tribes is preserved at the Museum at Warm Springs, a major statewide attraction. The tribes also operate a popular on-reservation resort and casino. The reservation is geographically diverse, stretching from the snowcapped summit of the Cascade Mountains to the palisaded cliffs of the Deschutes River in Central Oregon. The population of Warm Springs in 2000 was 2,431.
