Our Team

Jim Schell
Jim will direct strategic planning, financial management and evaluation. He works closely with the Northwest Area Foundation and Partnership to End Poverty board of directors. Jim has helped start two Central Oregon nonprofit organizations in the past 11 years.

Jim's Goals:

  1. Create an environment for the staff to succeed.
  2. Engage the Board of Directors in community leadership and strategic decision-making.
  3. Maintain a mutually beneficial and open relationship with the NWAF.
  4. Personally create and manage successful programs and/or initiatives.
  5. Maintain the fiscal integrity of PEP.
  6. Create and manage a strategy for assuring PEP's financial sustainability.
  7. Drive PEP's community leadership role.
  8. Develop internally, or locate externally, a qualified sucessor.
  9. Help the team win the 2009 Great Strides Award.
