There are thousands of low income families in Central Oregon striving to become financially self-sufficient. Economic mobility for low income people is increasingly complex. The scarcity of affordable childcare, transportation, healthcare, housing and access to education and job training, places low income residents of all ages at a disadvantage. We promote connections and opportunities for the economically disadvantaged to seek, retain or advance in jobs and access vital resources.
By convening and aligning the interests of economic, community, education and workforce development sectors, the Partnership seeks to increase the economic mobility of low income people. Everyone benefits from these partnerships. Individuals and communities reach their potential and prosper.
Our methods include listening to the voice of those who are struggling to make ends meet. We work with partners to focus and align resources to open doors for low income people to retain and advance careers, to achieve financial security, and thereby making changes in regional systems that impact current and future generations.
The PARTNERSHIP is a proud Venture Partner of the Northwest Area Foundation.
